WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Not just anyone can be a security officer in Jacksonville, FL. It takes someone with keen instincts and observation skills, great communication, critical thinking and an unwavering sense of duty.
Ideally, our security guard jobs are looking for someone who has prior experience in private security, law enforcement, military training, conflict resolution or management. We welcome candidates outside of these backgrounds based on additional skills and experience.
Because we staff security for all types of clientele, we prefer someone with flexible hours and the willingness to adapt to new jobsites and surroundings. You should be able to work well with others and be personable, yet professional while on the job.
Be at least 18 years of age
Class D license preferred
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively
Possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
